The successful candidate will work on complex cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, and corporate restructurings for major multinational and domestic clients.

• Lead and manage corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
• Draft and review transaction documents including share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and due diligence reports
• Advise clients on Ugandan corporate law, regulatory compliance, and investment structuring
• Coordinate with ALN member firms on cross-border transactions
• Mentor and supervise junior associates and trainees
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management
• Conduct legal research on emerging areas of law

• LLB degree from a recognized university
• Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC)
• Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda
• 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law
• Demonstrated experience in M&A, private equity, or corporate finance transactions
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Membership of the Uganda Law Society in good standing
