Competition Law Staj Intern — Esin Attorney Partnership (Baker McKenzie), Istanbul
Esin Attorney Partnership offers staj positions in its competition law practice, one of the busiest antitrust teams in Turkey. Staj interns assist with merger filings, cartel investigations, and Competition Board proceedings, gaining exposure to both Turkish and EU competition law through Baker McKenzie's global network.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of Competition Board merger notification filings and supporting documentation
- Research Turkish Competition Board decisions and EU Commission precedents
- Help prepare competition compliance materials and training presentations
- Monitor Official Gazette (Resmi Gazete) for competition law legislative developments
- Assist with draft responses to Competition Authority investigations and requests for information
- Participate in competition law workshops and Baker McKenzie global training programs

Requirements
- LLB from a top Turkish law faculty
- Registered for staj with the Istanbul Bar Association
- Strong academic performance; coursework in competition law, EU law, or economic law is a plus
- Fluent Turkish and strong English
- Analytical mindset and interest in antitrust economics
- Available for a minimum 6-month staj rotation
