Data Privacy and PDPL Internship
Saudi Telecom Company (stc) is offering a paid internship in our Data Privacy and Legal Compliance team in Riyadh. This internship focuses on the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and data governance.
Internship Overview
This 10-week paid internship provides law and technology students with hands-on experience in data privacy compliance at the region's largest telecom operator. You will assist with PDPL implementation, data mapping, and privacy policy development.
Duration and Compensation
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Compensation: SAR 4,500/month (paid)
- Location: stc headquarters, Riyadh
What You Will Do
- Assist with data mapping and records of processing activities (ROPA)
- Research PDPL requirements and NDMO implementing regulations
- Review privacy notices and data processing agreements
- Support data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) for new products
- Assist with awareness training materials for internal teams

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in LLB, information technology, or cybersecurity program
- Interest in data privacy, technology law, or regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with PDPL or GDPR concepts is an advantage
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Saudi nationals preferred (Saudization)
