Internship Description
ENI offers a paid 6-month internship in its Legal Affairs — Energy & Environment division at Piazzale Enrico Mattei 1 in Rome's EUR district. You will support legal counsel on environmental compliance, energy regulation, and sustainability projects for one of the world's largest energy companies.
What You Will Do
- Research Italian environmental legislation (D.Lgs. 152/2006) and EU Green Deal regulations
- Assist with environmental impact assessment documentation for ENI projects
- Support the drafting of sustainability-linked contractual provisions
- Analyse regulatory developments in carbon trading and emissions reduction
Programme Details
- Duration: 6 months
- Compensation: Paid — EUR 1,000/month + canteen access
- Start Date: Q3 2026 (September)
- Eligibility: Final-year law students or recent graduates with environmental/energy law interest
Requirements
- Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza (final year or recently completed)
- Interest in energy law, environmental law, or sustainability
- English B2+ level
- Knowledge of D.Lgs. 152/2006 advantageous
