Internship Description
Tax Law Internship — ACCRALAW
ACCRALAW offers a Tax Law Internship at its BGC office in Taguig for law students interested in Philippine taxation. The intern will work closely with the firm's tax attorneys on real client matters involving the BIR, Court of Tax Appeals, and corporate tax planning.
Internship Details
- Duration: 2-3 months
- Compensation: Paid internship with monthly stipend
- Schedule: Full-time during summer; flexible during academic year
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tax attorneys in preparing BIR ruling requests, tax opinions, and compliance documents
- Research Philippine tax laws including the NIRC, TRAIN Law (RA 10963), and CREATE Act (RA 11534)
- Help prepare case files for proceedings before the Court of Tax Appeals
- Draft memoranda on tax issues related to corporate transactions and investment structures
- Assist with transfer pricing documentation and international tax research
- Participate in tax department training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a J.D. or LL.B. program at a recognized Philippine law school (3rd or 4th year preferred)
- Strong interest in tax law, corporate finance, or accounting
- Undergraduate degree in Accountancy or Business Administration is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Strong English writing abilities
- Must be available for a minimum of 2 months
