Associate — Derivatives & Structured Finance

Allen & Overy Shearman's Madrid office on Calle de Serrano in the Barrio de Salamanca is seeking an Associate for its Derivatives & Structured Finance practice. You will advise banks, asset managers, and corporates on OTC derivatives, securitisations, and structured products under Spanish and EU frameworks, including EMIR, MiFID II, and the Ley del Mercado de Valores.

Responsabilidades Principales

• Draft and negotiate ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annexes, and CMOF (Contrato Marco de Operaciones Financieras) documentation
• Advise on Spanish securitisation structures (Fondos de Titulización) under Real Decreto 926/1998 and the EU Securitisation Regulation
• Ensure compliance with EMIR clearing and reporting obligations and MiFID II transaction reporting
• Structure covered bond (cédulas hipotecarias) programmes under the Ley del Mercado Hipotecario

Requisitos

• Graduado en Derecho; Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía
• Colegiado at ICAM; 2-5 years PQE in derivatives, structured finance, or capital markets
• Knowledge of ISDA/CMOF documentation and Spanish securities regulation
• Excellent English essential for cross-border work
