Job Description

WALLESS, one of Lithuania's most dynamic law firms, is seeking an Associate to join our Real Estate & Construction practice in Vilnius. You will advise clients on real estate transactions, construction projects, and property development matters across Lithuania.

Vilnius's rapidly growing real estate market, including major office, residential, and logistics developments, creates strong demand for specialized legal advice. The role involves working with the Civilinis kodeksas (Civil Code), Statybos istatymas (Construction Law), and Nekilnojamojo turto registru istatymas (Law on the Real Estate Register).

Responsibilities

Advise on commercial real estate acquisitions, disposals, and lease transactions in Lithuania. Conduct legal due diligence on properties, including searches at the Nekilnojamojo turto registras (Real Estate Register). Draft and negotiate sale-purchase agreements, lease agreements, and construction contracts. Advise on zoning, planning permissions, and environmental matters for development projects. Support real estate finance transactions and mortgage documentation.

Requirements

Teises magistras from a recognized university. 2-5 years of experience in real estate, construction, or property law. Knowledge of the Civilinis kodeksas property provisions and Statybos istatymas. Experience with real estate due diligence and transaction documentation. Fluent in Lithuanian and English.
