Clifford Chance is recruiting an experienced Legal Project Manager to join its market-leading Legal Operations team at Canary Wharf, London. The firm has invested heavily in legal project management, technology, and process improvement to deliver more efficient and transparent legal services to its global client base.

You will work alongside partners and senior associates across practice areas to plan, manage, and deliver complex legal matters and transactions. The role involves budgeting, resource planning, workflow design, and stakeholder management on some of the firm's most high-profile client mandates.

• Plan and manage complex legal matters, including budgeting, resourcing, and timeline management
• Facilitate matter kick-off meetings and establish project governance frameworks
• Track matter progress, manage risks, and report to partners and clients on status
• Design and implement process improvements for recurring legal workflows
• Support fee estimates, alternative fee arrangements, and client reporting
• Collaborate with the firm's innovation team on legal technology deployment

• 3-5 years experience in legal project management, legal operations, or practice management
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma certification is desirable
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong understanding of legal matter lifecycle, billing, and resource management
• Proficiency with legal project management tools (HighQ, Clocktimizer, or similar)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Law degree or legal background is preferred but not essential
