Job Description
First Quantum Minerals is hiring a Compliance and Ethics Officer to implement anti-corruption, conflict minerals and regulatory compliance programmes across its Zambian mining operations (Kansanshi and Sentinel mines). Based in Solwezi with travel to Kalumbila.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the corporate compliance and ethics program
- Conduct due diligence on contractors, suppliers and community partners
- Train staff on anti-bribery, conflicts of interest and whistleblowing policies
- Report to the General Counsel and Board Audit Committee
Requirements
- LLB or relevant compliance qualification (ICA, ACAMS)
- 3+ years in compliance, risk or legal roles in mining or extractives
- Knowledge of the Anti-Corruption Act and FCPA/UKBA principles
