Job Description
Funds & Investment Solicitor - A&L Goodbody (Galway)
A&L Goodbody is seeking a Funds and Investment Solicitor for our growing Galway office. Ireland is one of the world's leading domiciles for investment funds, and this role offers the opportunity to advise on the establishment, structuring, and regulation of UCITS and alternative investment funds from our West of Ireland hub.
The Galway office provides access to the same quality of work as Dublin while offering an excellent quality of life in the west of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on the establishment and structuring of Irish-domiciled investment funds
- Draft fund documentation including prospectuses and constitutional documents
- Advise on Central Bank of Ireland authorisation requirements for UCITS and AIFs
- Handle fund restructurings, mergers, and terminations
- Advise on EU regulatory developments including AIFMD II and SFDR

Requirements
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor on the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland
- 3-6 years PQE in investment funds law
- Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD, and Central Bank of Ireland fund requirements
- Experience with fund establishment and ongoing regulatory compliance
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to be based in Galway
