Job Description
International Tax Associate — Herzog Fox & Neeman, Tel Aviv
Herzog Fox & Neeman is seeking an International Tax Associate to join its leading tax practice at the Azrieli Center. The role involves advising on cross-border tax structuring for Israeli technology companies, multinational groups, and venture capital funds.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on Israeli tax aspects of cross-border M&A transactions, restructurings, and fund formations
- Structure tax-efficient investment vehicles for venture capital and private equity funds under Israeli tax law
- Advise on Section 102 employee stock option plans and tax-advantaged equity compensation for Israeli high-tech companies
- Handle tax rulings and advance pricing agreements with the Israel Tax Authority (Rashut HaMisim)
- Advise on transfer pricing compliance and documentation requirements under Israeli transfer pricing regulations
- Analyze the impact of Israel's tax treaty network on international transactions
- Advise olim chadashim (new immigrants) and returning residents on Israel's 10-year tax exemption benefits

Requirements
- Israel Bar Association membership with active license or CPA qualification
- 3-6 years of international tax experience at a top Israeli law firm or Big Four accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of the Israeli Income Tax Ordinance (New Version) 5721-1961, VAT Law, and Israel's tax treaty network
- Familiarity with Israeli Innovation Authority tax incentives and investment encouragement laws
- LLB and/or LLM in taxation from a recognized Israeli university
- Fluent Hebrew and English
- Understanding of US tax concepts (FATCA, Subpart F, GILTI) relevant to Israeli-US transactions
