Junior Associate — Intellectual Property & Technology

Zu'bi & Partners is seeking a Junior Associate for its Intellectual Property and Technology practice in Manama's Diplomatic Area. You will assist with trademark registrations, IP licensing, and technology transactions for clients operating in Bahrain and the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

• File trademark and patent applications with the Bahrain Industrial Property Directorate (MOIC)
• Draft IP licensing agreements, software contracts, and technology transfer agreements
• Advise on compliance with Bahrain's Copyright Law and Patent Law
• Conduct trademark searches and clearance opinions
• Assist with domain name disputes and online brand protection

• Manage trademark portfolio for corporate clients
• Research IP legislation across GCC jurisdictions
• Prepare client reports on IP prosecution status
• Attend MOIC hearings on IP opposition matters

• LLB from a recognised university; coursework in IP law an advantage
• Licensed by the Bahrain Bar Society or newly qualified
• 0-2 years post-qualification experience
• Bilingual in Arabic and English
• Interest in technology, e-commerce, and data protection law
