The Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego (KNF) — Poland's Financial Supervision Authority — is hiring a Legal Analyst for the Financial Market Supervision Department. KNF is headquartered on ul. Piękna in Warsaw's embassy district (Śródmieście Południowe) and supervises the banking, insurance, capital markets, and pension fund sectors.

About the Role

This entry-level role is ideal for graduates interested in financial regulation and supervisory law. You will support the legal team in analysing compliance of supervised entities with the Ustawa o nadzorze nad rynkiem finansowym (Financial Market Supervision Act), Prawo bankowe, and Ustawa o obrocie instrumentami finansowymi. Work includes reviewing licence applications, preparing supervisory measures, and drafting internal opinions.

You will gain exposure to EU financial regulation including CRD V/CRR II, MiFID II/MiFIR, and Solvency II, and develop expertise in a field with strong demand from both the public and private sectors.

• Analyse compliance of supervised entities with applicable financial regulations
• Review and assess licence and authorisation applications
• Draft internal legal opinions and supervisory recommendations
• Support preparation of supervisory measures and administrative decisions
• Monitor legislative developments in Polish and EU financial regulation
• Assist in preparation of KNF recommendations and guidelines for the financial sector

• Magister prawa (recently graduated or up to 2 years post-graduation)
• Strong academic background in financial law, banking law, or capital markets law
• Basic knowledge of Prawo bankowe, Ustawa o nadzorze nad rynkiem finansowym, and EU financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and research skills
• Fluent Polish; good English for EU regulatory cooperation
• Interest in pursuing a career in financial regulation
