Job Description

Madison Finance Company is seeking a Legal and Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory compliance, credit documentation and legal risk management across its consumer and SME lending portfolio in Zambia.

Responsibilities

Review loan agreements, security documents and facility letters
Monitor compliance with Bank of Zambia regulations
Handle debt recovery litigation and instruct external counsel

Requirements

LLB and admitted to the Zambian Bar
2+ years in financial services, banking or compliance law
Knowledge of the Banking and Financial Services Act
