Job Description
NamPower is seeking a Legal and Contracts Manager to oversee all legal aspects of energy procurement, power purchase agreements, construction contracts and regulatory compliance for Namibia's national power utility.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage power purchase and interconnection agreements
- Oversee construction and EPC contracts for generation projects
- Advise on the Electricity Act and ERA regulatory requirements
- Manage a team of 2 contracts officers
Requirements
- LLB; LLM or MBA is an advantage
- 5+ years in energy, construction or commercial law
- Experience with FIDIC, NEC or equivalent international contracts
