Job Description
ZESCO Limited, Zambia's national electricity utility, seeks a Legal Counsel to handle regulatory compliance, power purchase agreements and corporate legal matters in the energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Review and negotiate power purchase and concession agreements
- Advise on ZESCO's regulatory obligations under ERB guidelines
- Handle disputes, arbitration and litigation
Requirements
- LLB and admitted to the Zambian Bar
- 3+ years in corporate or regulatory law
- Knowledge of the Energy Regulation Act is an advantage
