Job Description

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join:

Our Product Managers imagine the ideal experience for our community and work backwards, creating innovative products that delight our guests and hosts. They deeply understand the needs of our users and translate these into a strategy that combines strong product intuition with research. They partner with talented cross-functional team members across engineering, design, operations, data science, and more, leading teams to execute a shared vision. They are incredibly detail-oriented and hands on.

The Difference You Will Make:

As a Product Manager in Airbnb’s Quality organization, you’ll work at the intersection of backend data, AI/ML modeling, and user experience to support the development of product features for both guests and hosts, directly impacting the quality of trips across the marketplace.

In this position you will lead the Trip Quality Data product management strategy and roadmap, collaborating closely with data science and engineering. You will be responsible for prioritizing the roadmap based on expected impact and strategic relevance, while ensuring consistency in cross-company data models, spotting opportunities to enhance and connect the dots between different use cases for the same sets of information, and more. This is not strictly a platform PM role: in addition to improving the data insights, you will also have the opportunity to build user facing features that improve Airbnb's understanding of trip quality.

This is a critical role that will accelerate Airbnb’s ability to understand and improve both the host and guest experience.
