Job Description
Regulatory Compliance Counsel — Fintech (Remote / London Hybrid)
Revolut is hiring a Regulatory Compliance Counsel to support our rapidly growing financial services platform. This role can be fully remote from anywhere in the UK or EU, or hybrid from our London headquarters.
What You'll Do:
- Advise on regulatory compliance for banking, payments, and investment products across European markets
- Monitor regulatory developments including PSD2, MiFID II, and EMD2
- Support licensing applications and regulatory approvals in new markets
- Draft compliance policies and procedures for new product launches
- Liaise with regulators including the FCA, CBI, and other European authorities

- Optional hybrid from London office
- Quarterly team meetups and annual company gatherings
Responsibilities
Lead regulatory compliance for payment and banking products. Monitor and interpret European financial regulations. Support licensing applications in new jurisdictions. Build compliance frameworks for new product categories. Manage regulatory relationships and examinations.
Requirements
Qualified solicitor, barrister, or equivalent European legal qualification. 5-8 years in financial services compliance or regulatory law. Deep knowledge of European payment, banking, and investment regulations. Experience with regulatory licensing and supervisory engagement. Strong written communication suited for distributed team collaboration.
