Job Description
Senior Compliance Officer — Cryptocurrency Regulation (Fully Remote)
Coinbase is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join our remote-first legal and compliance team. You'll help shape compliance strategy across global crypto regulations, AML/KYC programs, and licensing requirements.

What You'll Do:
- Design and implement compliance programs for cryptocurrency products and services
- Monitor and interpret evolving crypto regulations across US, EU, and Asia-Pacific
- Manage AML/KYC compliance frameworks and transaction monitoring systems
- Coordinate with regulators and respond to examinations and inquiries
- Advise product teams on regulatory implications of new features

Responsibilities
Lead compliance program design for new products and markets. Monitor global cryptocurrency regulatory developments. Manage relationships with regulators and respond to inquiries. Build and maintain AML/KYC compliance frameworks. Advise cross-functional teams on regulatory requirements.
Requirements
JD or equivalent legal qualification. 6+ years in compliance, financial regulation, or legal roles at fintech or financial services companies. Deep knowledge of AML/BSA regulations, cryptocurrency regulatory frameworks, and money transmitter licensing. CAMS or similar compliance certification preferred. Experience working in remote-first organizations.
