Job Description

Neste, the world's leading producer of sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel, is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel for Corporate & Sustainability matters at our headquarters in Espoo. You will advise on corporate governance, ESG compliance, and sustainability-related regulatory matters.

The role involves advising the Board and executive management on obligations under the Osakeyhtiölaki (Companies Act), the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and the EU Taxonomy Regulation. You will also support Neste's annual general meeting preparations and securities law compliance.

Responsibilities

Advise the Board and management on corporate governance and the Osakeyhtiölaki. Lead legal workstreams for CSRD implementation and EU Taxonomy compliance. Prepare materials for the Annual General Meeting and Board meetings. Advise on securities law obligations including MAR and disclosure requirements. Support sustainability strategy with legal analysis of regulatory developments.

Requirements

OTM degree from a Finnish university. 7-10 years of corporate law experience, preferably in-house at a listed company. Expert knowledge of the Osakeyhtiölaki (Companies Act) and Finnish securities regulation. Experience with ESG/sustainability regulation (CSRD, EU Taxonomy). Fluent in Finnish and English.
