Job Description
Gill, Godlonton & Gerrans, ranked Band 1 by Chambers Global for General Business Law, seeks a Senior Litigation Associate. You will handle complex commercial disputes, arbitrations, and constitutional matters in the High Court and Supreme Court of Zimbabwe.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Prepare pleadings, heads of argument, and court applications
- Appear in the High Court, Supreme Court, and Constitutional Court
- Handle domestic and international arbitrations under UNCITRAL and ICC rules
- Advise corporate clients on dispute avoidance strategies
Requirements
- LLB degree from a recognized university
- Registered Legal Practitioner, 5+ years litigation experience
- Strong advocacy and legal writing skills
- Experience with commercial arbitration preferred
- Chambers Global or Legal 500 recognition is a plus
