About the Internship
Al Tamimi & Company, the largest law firm in the Middle East, invites applications for a paid Corporate Law internship at its Bahrain office. Over 6 months, interns will gain practical experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, joint ventures, and commercial transactions across the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting and reviewing corporate agreements, shareholders' agreements, and joint venture documentation
- Conduct due diligence reviews for M&A transactions and corporate restructuring projects
- Research Bahraini commercial law, Central Bank of Bahrain regulations, and MOICT requirements
- Prepare memoranda summarising regulatory frameworks for foreign investment in Bahrain
- Support partners and associates in preparing client presentations and transaction timelines
- Attend client meetings and internal training sessions
Requirements
- Law student in final year or recent graduate from a recognised law programme
- Strong academic record with interest in corporate and commercial law
- Excellent English writing skills; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Familiarity with Bahrain's business environment is preferred but not required
