Internship Description

About the Internship

Al Tamimi & Company, the largest law firm in the Middle East, invites applications for a paid Corporate Law internship at its Bahrain office. Over 6 months, interns will gain practical experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, joint ventures, and commercial transactions across the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with drafting and reviewing corporate agreements, shareholders' agreements, and joint venture documentation
  • Conduct due diligence reviews for M&A transactions and corporate restructuring projects
  • Research Bahraini commercial law, Central Bank of Bahrain regulations, and MOICT requirements
  • Prepare memoranda summarising regulatory frameworks for foreign investment in Bahrain
  • Support partners and associates in preparing client presentations and transaction timelines
  • Attend client meetings and internal training sessions

Requirements

  • Law student in final year or recent graduate from a recognised law programme
  • Strong academic record with interest in corporate and commercial law
  • Excellent English writing skills; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Familiarity with Bahrain's business environment is preferred but not required
