Corporate Law Internship — Al-Tamimi & Company, Baghdad
Al-Tamimi & Company offers a 3-month paid internship in its Baghdad office for law students and recent graduates interested in corporate and commercial law in Iraq. Interns will work alongside experienced lawyers on live transactions involving M&A, company formation, and foreign investment.
Duration & Compensation
Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension)
Compensation: Paid internship — monthly stipend in IQD
Start Date: Rolling admissions
What You Will Learn
- Iraqi Company Law No. 21 of 1997 and corporate governance practices
- Due diligence methodology for investment transactions
- Legal research and memo writing in a bilingual (Arabic-English) environment
- Client communication and professional law firm practice
- Cross-border transaction coordination with regional offices
Eligibility
Open to final-year LLB students and recent graduates from accredited Iraqi universities. Students from University of Baghdad Faculty of Law, Al-Nahrain University, and Al-Mustansiriya University are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Iraqi LLB program
- Strong academic record (top 30% of class preferred)
- Good Arabic and English language skills
- Interest in corporate and commercial law
- Available for full-time in-office work for 3 months
- Iraqi nationality or valid work authorization
