Internship Description

Baker McKenzie Taipei offers an International Trade Law Internship for students interested in cross-border trade, export controls, and economic sanctions. Interns will support the international trade practice team on matters involving Taiwan's key trade relationships.

Responsibilities

Research international trade regulations affecting Taiwan's technology exports; assist with export control classification and screening processes; support trade remedy proceedings by gathering and organizing evidence; draft summaries of trade regulatory developments; attend seminars and training sessions on international trade compliance.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in LL.B., LL.M., or international trade program; interest in international trade law and export controls; basic understanding of WTO framework and trade regulations; strong research and writing skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
