Legal Intern — Corporate & Regulatory

ZESCO Limited offers a 6-month legal internship in its Corporate Legal Services department. Based at ZESCO Head Office on Stand No. 6949, Great East Road, Lusaka, you will gain practical experience in energy regulation, procurement law and corporate governance for Zambia's national electricity utility.

Duration: 6 months
Stipend: Paid (monthly stipend)
Eligibility: 3rd or 4th year LLB students, or recent LLB graduates
Start: Rolling applications

• Assist Legal Counsel with review of power purchase and contractor agreements
• Research Energy Regulation Board (ERB) directives and guidelines
• Support document management for corporate governance and board meetings
• Attend meetings with regulatory authorities under supervision

• Enrolled in or recently completed LLB at a recognised university
• Interest in energy, corporate or regulatory law
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
