Internship Description

UNEP Nairobi headquarters offers a 6-month internship in its Law Division for law students and recent graduates interested in international environmental law and climate policy. Interns contribute to research on plastic pollution treaty negotiations, biodiversity frameworks, and climate litigation trends worldwide.

Responsibilities

Research legal dimensions of ongoing environmental negotiations (plastic pollution treaty, post-2020 biodiversity framework). Draft research briefs and background papers for legal officers. Requirements
