Internship Description

The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights offers a 6-month legal internship for recent law graduates interested in human rights law, public interest litigation, and constitutional governance. Interns will support the Commission's advisory, complaints handling, and research functions under the supervision of senior legal officers.

Responsibilities

Research human rights issues and draft advisory opinions. Assist in processing complaints from the public. Support preparation of reports to regional and international human rights bodies. Attend stakeholder engagements and public hearings.

Requirements

LLB degree from a recognized university. Demonstrated interest in human rights, constitutional law, or public interest law through coursework, research, or volunteer work. Must be a Kenyan citizen.
