Internship Description

ZICTA (Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority) invites applications for a 3-month legal internship in its Legal and Regulatory Affairs department. You will assist with telecommunications licensing, consumer protection and compliance monitoring for Zambia's ICT sector regulator.

Duration: 3 months
Stipend: Unpaid (meals and transport provided)
Eligibility: 3rd or 4th year LLB students
Start: January, May, or September intake

Responsibilities

  • Research ICT legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Assist with drafting licence conditions and compliance notices
  • Attend public hearings and stakeholder consultations
  • Maintain regulatory filing records

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year LLB
  • Interest in technology law or regulatory affairs
  • Good academic standing and a recommendation letter from the university
