Internship Description
ZICTA (Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority) invites applications for a 3-month legal internship in its Legal and Regulatory Affairs department. You will assist with telecommunications licensing, consumer protection and compliance monitoring for Zambia's ICT sector regulator.
Duration: 3 months
Stipend: Unpaid (meals and transport provided)
Eligibility: 3rd or 4th year LLB students
Start: January, May, or September intake
Responsibilities
- Research ICT legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Assist with drafting licence conditions and compliance notices
- Attend public hearings and stakeholder consultations
- Maintain regulatory filing records
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year LLB
- Interest in technology law or regulatory affairs
- Good academic standing and a recommendation letter from the university
