Internship Description

ALN Kenya offers a legal internship focused on private equity and venture capital transactions. The intern will support the firm's market-leading PE/VC practice, which has advised on some of East Africa's largest PE deals. This is ideal for KSL graduates interested in corporate finance and investment law.

Responsibilities

Assist in drafting shareholders agreements, subscription agreements, and convertible note documentation. Support due diligence workstreams on PE transactions. Research regulatory issues in key sectors (fintech, energy, healthcare). Prepare transaction summaries and closing checklists.

Requirements

LLB from a recognized university. Currently completing or recently completed KSL ATP. Strong academic record. Interest in PE/VC, corporate finance, or startup ecosystem.
