Internship Description

RIAA Barker Gillette offers a legal internship in its International Trade & Investment practice in Karachi. Interns work alongside one of Pakistan's top-ranked legal teams on cross-border transactions, foreign investment approvals, and trade remedies. The firm is the exclusive Lex Mundi member in Pakistan.

Responsibilities

Researching Pakistani foreign investment regulations and BOI procedures. Assisting with cross-border transaction documentation. Preparing research memoranda on international trade law. Supporting trade remedy proceedings before the National Tariff Commission. Attending meetings with foreign investors and government officials.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an LLB programme. Strong academic record with interest in international law. Excellent English writing skills. Familiarity with BOI regulations and foreign investment framework is a plus.
