Legal Trainee

Al Tamimi & Company offers a paid 6-month Legal Trainee position at its Kuwait office in Al-Hamra Tower, Sharq. As MENA's largest law firm with over 450 lawyers across 17 offices, Al Tamimi provides trainees with exposure to cross-border transactions and an international law firm environment. Trainees may rotate between the Corporate, Banking, and Dispute Resolution teams.

Programme Details

• Duration: 6 months (rolling applications)
• Compensation: Paid — KWD 400-550/month stipend
• Eligibility: Recent LLB graduates (2024-2026) or LLM students

What You Will Learn

• Assist associates and partners with corporate due diligence and transaction support
• Draft legal memoranda, client letters, and contract summaries in English and Arabic
• Conduct comparative legal research across GCC jurisdictions
• Attend client meetings and networking events
• Gain exposure to international best practices in legal service delivery

Requirements

• LLB from a recognised university (2024-2026); LLM students welcome
• Strong academic record with demonstrable interest in commercial law
• Bilingual Arabic/English with excellent written communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
