Legal Trainee — Corporate Practice

As Kuwait's leading Tier 1 firm (Chambers & Partners), ASAR's training programme provides structured exposure to corporate transactions, banking, and dispute resolution. Trainees rotate across practice groups and receive mentorship from senior partners.

Programme Details

• Duration: 12 months (rolling applications accepted)
• Compensation: Paid — KWD 400-600/month stipend
• Eligibility: Final-year LLB students or recent graduates from recognised universities

What You Will Learn

• Draft corporate resolutions, shareholder agreements, and board minutes under Kuwait Companies Law
• Support due diligence processes for M&A transactions
• Attend client meetings and observe court hearings at the Palace of Justice
• Conduct legal research on Kuwaiti legislation using Ministry of Justice databases
• Assist with contract review and regulatory filings

Requirements

• Final-year LLB student or recent graduate (2024-2026) from Kuwait University, AOU, or equivalent
• Strong academic record; top 25% of class preferred
• Bilingual Arabic/English with strong written skills
• Interest in corporate and commercial law
