Position Overview
Internship Description
Gómez-Pinzón offers a 6-month Judicatura placement in the Corporate Law practice for final-year Derecho students and recent graduates completing their mandatory judicial internship for bar admission. The programme provides structured exposure to M&A, corporate governance, and foreign investment matters.
Judicantes work alongside associates on live transactions, participate in Consultorio Jurídico sessions, and attend internal training seminars. Outstanding judicantes regularly receive offers for permanent positions. The stipend is competitive for the Bogotá legal market.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with corporate due diligence and document review for M&A transactions
- Preparing corporate minutes, board resolutions, and shareholders' meeting documentation
- Researching Superintendencia de Sociedades doctrines and Código de Comercio provisions
- Supporting Cámara de Comercio filings and foreign investment registrations
- Attending Consultorio Jurídico sessions under supervision of senior associates
Requirements
- Final-year Derecho student or recent graduate completing Judicatura
- Academic excellence from a top Colombian law faculty (Universidad de los Andes, Javeriana, Externado, Rosario preferred)
- Strong interest in corporate and transactional law
- Solid knowledge of Código de Comercio and Ley 1258 de 2008
- English proficiency at B2+ level
