Internship Description
Deutsche Bank offers a 3-month Praktikum in our Legal and Compliance division in Frankfurt. This internship provides law students with hands-on experience in banking law, financial regulation, and compliance at Germany's largest bank, offering excellent career development in the financial services sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist legal counsel with research on banking regulation and compliance matters
- Support review of contracts and legal documentation
- Help prepare regulatory filings and compliance reports
- Research current developments in financial regulation (MiFID II, CRR/CRD)
- Assist with internal policy reviews and updates
- Participate in training sessions on financial regulation and compliance
Requirements
- Enrolled in law studies at a German university (minimum 5th semester) or completed Erstes Staatsexamen
- Interest in banking law, financial regulation, or compliance
- Basic knowledge of banking regulation or capital markets law
- Good analytical and research skills
- Fluent in German and English
- Duration: 3 months, full-time
- Compensation: Competitive monthly stipend
