Internship Description
ENSafrica, Africa's largest law firm by headcount, offers a pupillage in its Kenya office focusing on IP and technology law. The programme exposes pupils to trademark prosecution, patent advisory, technology transactions, and Kenya's emerging data protection regime. ENSafrica's pan-African platform means pupils gain exposure to IP matters across the continent.
Responsibilities
Assist in trademark and patent prosecution before KIPI. Draft technology agreements, software licenses, and data processing agreements. Research IP case law and emerging tech regulation in Kenya. Support anti-counterfeiting operations and brand protection strategies.
Requirements
LLB from a recognized university with distinction in IP-related courses. Completed KSL ATP. Interest in technology, innovation, or creative industries. Understanding of KIPI processes and basic IP concepts.
