Internship Description
MMW Advocates offers a pupillage opportunity in its litigation and arbitration department. The firm specializes in constitutional law, human rights litigation, commercial disputes, and public interest cases. Pupils will gain courtroom experience from day one, assisting in matters before the High Court, Supreme Court, and regional tribunals including the East African Court of Justice.
Responsibilities
Research and draft legal memoranda and court submissions. Attend court hearings and record proceedings. Assist in preparation of witness statements and evidence bundles. Observe and participate in client consultations.
Requirements
LLB from a recognized Kenyan university. Completed or currently enrolled in Kenya School of Law ATP. Strong interest in litigation, constitutional law, or human rights. Excellent research and writing skills.
