Internship Description
Gide Loyrette Nouel is offering a Stage for eleves-avocats in its International Arbitration department at its Paris headquarters. This paid 6-month stage provides exceptional exposure to complex international disputes under ICC, ICSID, and ad hoc arbitration rules. Gide's arbitration team is one of the largest and most respected in France.
What You Will Do
- Assist on international arbitration cases under ICC, ICSID, and UNCITRAL rules
- Draft legal memoranda, witness statements, and procedural submissions
- Conduct legal research on French and international arbitration law
- Attend hearings and arbitral tribunal conferences
- Assist with enforcement proceedings before French courts under the Code de procedure civile
Eligibility
- EFB student having passed the CRFPA exam
- Master 2 in International Arbitration, International Law, or Dispute Resolution
- Strong academic record from a leading French or European university
- Excellent French and English (written and oral)
- Interest in public international law and investment arbitration preferred
Duration: 6 months
Compensation: Paid — EUR 2,500-3,500/month
Start date: January or September intake
