Stage Juriste — International Legal Affairs

TotalEnergies offers a 6-month Stage for law students in its International Legal Affairs department at its La Defense headquarters. This paid stage provides exceptional exposure to international energy transactions, cross-border M&A, and corporate governance at one of the world's largest energy companies.

What You Will Do

• Assist juristes on international M&A and joint venture transactions
• Conduct legal research on French and international corporate law
• Draft contract summaries and legal analysis memoranda
• Assist with Sapin II anti-corruption compliance projects
• Support the team on corporate governance matters for group entities

Eligibility

• Master 2 student in International Business Law, M&A, or Corporate Law
• Strong interest in energy industry and international transactions
• Fluent French and English required; third language (Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish) a strong plus
• Available for 6 months, ideally starting March or September 2026
• Previous internship at a law firm or corporate legal department preferred

Duration: 6 months

Compensation: Paid — EUR 1,500-2,000/month (convention de stage)
