Position Overview
Job Description
The successful candidate will work closely with internal engineering teams including firmware, architecture, design, power/thermal, and supplier teams to ensure validation coverage and world class quality and reliability for the company's Solid State Drives (SSDs). Using gathered data, the candidate will execute a comprehensive qualification plan aimed at ensuring the reliability and quality of SSD products.
In addition to validation and reliability tasks, this internship presents a software development opportunity with exposure to C++/Python programming and Full Stack development (AngularJS, SQL, REST, etc.). The internship’s goal is to provide hands-on experience in engineering applications tailored specifically for validation, emphasizing the creation of software to stress-test and evaluate product reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Must be able to work onsite at our Shanghai location
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Strong research and writing skills
- Good time management
- Critical thinking skills
- Experience with Windows Office suites and Windows/Linux environments
- Self-motivator
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 Month Experience in the following areas:
- Systems Engineering
- Semiconductor devices/processes and circuit design/validation
- Storage products
- PCIe interface, NVMe protocol
- SQL database
- Scripting language such as Perl, Python
- Statistical analysis
- Project Management
