Abogado — Derecho Laboral y Seguridad Social

Garrigues is looking for an Abogado to join its Derecho Laboral y de la Seguridad Social department at Calle Hermosilla 3 in Madrid's Barrio de Salamanca, near the Juzgados de lo Social de Madrid on Calle Princesa. You will advise multinational companies on Spanish employment law matters, including restructurings, collective dismissals (EREs/ERTEs), and executive compensation, under the Estatuto de los Trabajadores and Real Decreto-Ley 32/2021 (labour reform).

Responsabilidades Principales

• Advise on individual and collective dismissals, EREs, and ERTEs under the Estatuto de los Trabajadores (Real Decreto Legislativo 2/2015)
• Draft and negotiate executive service agreements, non-compete clauses, and severance packages compliant with Spanish law
• Support M&A teams on labour due diligence and workforce transfers under Article 44 of the Estatuto de los Trabajadores
• Represent clients before the Juzgados de lo Social, Tribunal Superior de Justicia, and SMAC (Servicio de Mediación, Arbitraje y Conciliación)
• Advise on remote work regulations (Ley 10/2021 de trabajo a distancia) and workplace health and safety

Requisitos

• Graduado en Derecho with Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía completed
• Colegiado at ICAM or equivalent bar association
• 3-6 years PQE in employment and labour law
• Strong knowledge of Spanish Social Security system (TGSS/INSS)
• Good working English for international client coordination
