Abogado Senior — Asesoría Legal Corporativa

Banco del Pacífico, one of Ecuador's largest state-owned banks headquartered in Guayaquil, seeks a Senior Corporate Legal Advisor. The bank is a key financial institution on Ecuador's coast, serving corporate, SME, and retail clients across the Litoral region.

The role involves advising executive management and the board of directors on corporate governance, regulatory compliance with the Superintendencia de Bancos, and strategic legal matters including public procurement under the Ley Orgánica del Sistema Nacional de Contratación Pública (LOSNCP).

• Advising the board of directors and executive management on corporate governance matters
• Ensuring compliance with Superintendencia de Bancos prudential regulations
• Managing public procurement processes under LOSNCP for the bank's operational needs
• Overseeing banking litigation and institutional dispute resolution
• Coordinating with external counsel on complex regulatory and litigation matters

• Título de Abogado from a recognised Ecuadorian university
• 8-12 years of experience in banking, corporate, or regulatory law
• Expert knowledge of the Código Orgánico Monetario y Financiero
• Experience with state-owned enterprise governance and LOSNCP procurement requirements
• Understanding of Contraloría General del Estado audit processes
• Fluent English for international correspondent banking matters
