Job Description
Cuatrecasas Portugal's Lisbon office is looking for an Advogado to join its Direito Imobiliário practice on Praça Marquês de Pombal. You will advise international real estate funds, developers, and institutional investors on property transactions in Portugal's dynamic real estate market — one of Europe's most attractive for foreign investment — covering acquisitions, urban rehabilitation, and fund structuring.
Principais Responsabilidades
- Advise on property acquisitions and disposals, conducting due diligence at the Conservatória do Registo Predial and reviewing Caderneta Predial records
- Draft and negotiate commercial lease agreements under the Novo Regime do Arrendamento Urbano (NRAU, Lei n.º 6/2006)
- Support the structuring of SIGIs and Portuguese real estate investment funds (Fundos de Investimento Imobiliário — FII)
- Advise on urban planning and licensing under the RJUE (Decreto-Lei n.º 555/99) and PDMs (Planos Directores Municipais)
Requisitos
- Licenciatura or Mestrado em Direito from a recognised Portuguese university
- Inscrito na Ordem dos Advogados; 2-5 years PQE in real estate law
- Knowledge of NRAU, RJUE, and Portuguese property registration system
- Fluent English for international investor clients
