Uría Menéndez — Proença de Carvalho is seeking an Advogado Sénior to join its top-ranked Direito Fiscal practice on Praça Marquês de Pombal in Lisbon. You will advise major Portuguese and multinational corporations on complex tax matters under the Código do IRC, Código do IRS, and Código do IVA, leveraging the firm's unrivalled pan-Iberian platform for cross-border tax planning between Portugal and Spain.

Principais Responsabilidades

• Advise on Portuguese corporate taxation (IRC — Imposto sobre o Rendimento das Pessoas Coletivas), including participation exemption, tax consolidation (RETGS), and transfer pricing under the Código do IRC
• Draft tax opinions on cross-border restructurings, permanent establishment issues, and holding company structures for Iberian multinationals
• Represent clients before the Autoridade Tributária e Aduaneira, Tribunal Tributário de Lisboa, and the Supremo Tribunal Administrativo (STA)
• Advise on EU tax directives (ATAD, DAC6/DAC7) and OECD Pillar One and Pillar Two implementation in Portugal
• Coordinate with Uría Menéndez's Madrid, Barcelona, and Brussels offices on multi-jurisdictional tax planning

Requisitos

• Licenciatura or Mestrado em Direito; Pós-graduação em Direito Fiscal preferred
• Inscrito na Ordem dos Advogados; 6-9 years PQE in tax advisory at a top-tier firm
• Deep knowledge of Portuguese tax law (Código do IRC, IRS, IVA, LGT — Lei Geral Tributária)
• Fluent English; Spanish highly advantageous for Iberian coordination
