Job Description

Required Qualifications: Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction), and have at least 3* year post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience. United States citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience in defensive civil matters, which may include the following practice areas: mixed Title VII, personal injury / tort (Federal Tort Claims Act), immigration, bankruptcy, condemnation/eminent domain, environmental, and/or affirmative civil enforcement including immigration and health care fraud cases. Because the applicant may handle affirmative, defensive, immigration, bankruptcy, and parallel proceedings/cases, the ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in civil practice and procedure, in contested litigation and mediation, and trials. The ideal candidate must possess quick analytical ability and the facility to accurately and precisely articulate the critical issues in a case. The ideal candidate should also have well-developed computer skills in automated research, electronic court filing, email and word processing systems and software, and document management platforms, and elitigation tools. You must meet all qualification requirements upon the closing date of this announcement.
