Associate – Capital Markets
Clifford Chance Singapore is seeking a mid-level Associate for its Capital Markets practice at Marina Bay Financial Centre. Working through the Cavenagh Law alliance, you will advise on IPOs, secondary offerings, debt issuances, and structured finance transactions on SGX and international exchanges.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise issuers, underwriters, and sponsors on IPOs and secondary equity offerings on SGX-ST
- Draft prospectuses, offering circulars, and disclosure documents in compliance with the SFA and SGX listing rules
- Structure and document bond issuances, medium-term note programmes, and sukuk offerings
- Coordinate with international Clifford Chance offices on multi-jurisdictional capital markets transactions
- Advise on MAS regulatory approvals and continuing listing obligations
Requirements
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, or qualified in England & Wales
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in capital markets
- Familiarity with the Securities and Futures Act, SGX listing manual, and MAS guidelines
- Experience in both equity and debt capital markets transactions
- Strong academic record and excellent written English
