Associate – Corporate M&A
Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its market-leading Corporate M&A practice at our Raffles Place headquarters. You will advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings for listed and private companies across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and transaction documents for M&A deals
- Conduct legal due diligence on target companies under the Companies Act and Securities and Futures Act (SFA)
- Advise on SGX listing rules, takeover code compliance, and regulatory approvals from MAS and other authorities
- Coordinate cross-border transactions with Rajah & Tann Asia network offices across 10 ASEAN countries
- Support partners in client relationship management for major regional corporations and MNCs
Requirements
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate M&A at a reputable Singapore law firm
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, SFA, and SGX regulatory framework
- Excellent drafting skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions
- Experience with ASEAN cross-border deals is highly preferred
