Turkish Airlines is seeking an Aviation Contracts Avukat to join its Legal Department at the Istanbul Airport headquarters. This role covers commercial contract management for one of the world's largest airlines, including aircraft leasing, airport agreements, ground handling, and codeshare partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate aircraft lease agreements, purchase agreements, and maintenance contracts
• Review and manage airport slot agreements, ground handling contracts, and catering service agreements
• Advise on codeshare and interline agreements with Star Alliance partners and other airlines
• Handle sponsorship agreements, marketing partnerships, and brand licensing contracts
• Ensure compliance with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM) regulations and international aviation treaties
• Support cargo operations contracts and logistics service agreements
• Manage contract disputes and coordinate with external counsel on litigation matters

• Active avukat license registered with the Istanbul Bar Association
• 3-7 years of commercial contract law experience; aviation or transportation sector preferred
• Knowledge of Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 and Law of Obligations No. 6098
• Understanding of international aviation law (Chicago Convention, Montreal Convention) is a plus
• LLB from a recognized Turkish law faculty
• Fluent Turkish and English; additional languages (Arabic, Spanish, German) are an advantage
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills
