Avocat en Droit des Affaires (Corporate/M&A)

Bredin Prat is seeking an experienced Avocat to join its Corporate/M&A (Droit des affaires) practice group at its headquarters on rue de Monceau in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. You will advise major French and international corporations on complex mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring transactions governed by French civil law.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate share purchase agreements, merger protocols, and joint venture documentation under the Code de commerce
• Advise on corporate governance matters including compliance with AMF regulations and the Code de commerce
• Coordinate due diligence processes and manage transaction execution from signing to closing
• Represent clients before the Autorite de la concurrence for merger control filings
• Work with cross-border teams on multi-jurisdictional transactions

Requirements

• Master 2 in Business Law (Droit des affaires) from a leading French university
• Admitted to the Paris Bar (Barreau de Paris) with CAPA certificate
• 3-5 years post-qualification experience in corporate/M&A at a top-tier firm
• Fluent in French and English; third language a plus
• Strong drafting skills in both French and English
