Chargé(e) d'Études Juridiques — Market Regulation | AMMC
L'Autorité Marocaine du Marché des Capitaux (AMMC), Morocco's independent securities regulator on Avenue Annakhil in Rabat's Hay Riad district, is recruiting a Legal Research Officer to join its Market Regulation department. This is a prestigious public service role at the heart of Morocco's capital markets ecosystem.
About the AMMC
The AMMC supervises all capital markets activity in Morocco, including the Bourse de Casablanca, OPCVM (collective investment schemes), sociétés de bourse, and public offerings. The institution works within the framework of the Dahir portant Loi n°1-93-212 and its subsequent amendments, and cooperates with international peer regulators through IOSCO membership.

Responsibilities
- Conduct legal and regulatory studies on capital markets issues for the AMMC Board
- Draft and review regulatory circulars, guidelines, and interpretation notes
- Analyse prospectuses and offering documents for compliance with disclosure requirements
- Participate in investigations of potential market abuse, insider trading, and disclosure violations
- Contribute to policy development for Morocco's capital markets modernisation programme
- Represent the AMMC in IOSCO working groups and bilateral regulatory cooperation initiatives
- Prepare briefing notes on international regulatory developments for senior management
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business Law, Capital Markets Law, or Financial Regulation from a Moroccan or French university
- 3-5 years' experience in securities law, capital markets regulation, or financial services advisory
- Knowledge of Moroccan capital markets legislation including Loi sur la Bourse des Valeurs and AMMC regulations
- Understanding of international securities regulatory frameworks (EU MiFID, IOSCO standards)
- Strong legal research, analysis, and report-writing skills in French
- Arabic required; English strongly preferred for international cooperation
