Job Description

Emerge Egress Consulting is recruiting a Commercial and Conveyancing Advocate for a client law firm in Nairobi. The role involves handling property transactions, commercial agreements, due diligence, and conveyancing matters. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in both commercial law and conveyancing, with the ability to manage transactions independently.

Responsibilities

Handle conveyancing transactions including property transfers, charges, and leases. Draft and review commercial contracts and agreements. Conduct property due diligence and title searches. Advise clients on land acquisition, development, and disposal transactions. Manage conveyancing files from instruction to completion. Liaise with the Land Registry, banks, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

LLB degree and admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Valid current practicing certificate. Minimum 3 years experience in conveyancing and commercial law. Strong knowledge of property law, the Land Registration Act, and commercial contracts. Experience with land transactions, leases, and property development agreements.
